FD Blueprint specialises in identifying and addressing policy orientations, or specific regulatory issues, which affect the profile and market access of technology companies at EU level. We have a dedicated technology team, which deals with the issues in the sector on a day-to-day basis.
The team includes recognised experts with many years experience in the telecoms and ICT industry and the EU institutions, including the Commission (DG Information Society), the European Parliament and European telecoms agencies, notably ETNO. Partner Louise Harvey, who leads our technology team, has over 20 years’ consultancy experience while Dr. Elly Plooij-van Gorsel is a former MEP and Vice-President of the European Parliament.
FD Blueprint experience includes advocacy at high political and technical level, policy positioning and corporate reputation advice. Our technology team is known for its innovative and often ‘unexpected’ approach. We proactively organise strategic, high-level events for clients. Examples include a private luncheon with Fabio Colasanti, Director General for Information Society, and a conference on Creative Rights and Cultural Diversity, attended by Commissioners McCreevy and Figel.
