02/12/2009 - Consultant/Senior Consultant, Communications & Media Team
Due to continued growth and some exciting new client wins, FD Blueprint is looking to recruit experienced professionals to its Communications & Media team.
Our Communications & Media team undertakes major assignments in Brussels and throughout Europe, across a range of sectors and issues. These positions are for experienced professionals and offer the opportunity to play an instrumental role in some of Brussels’ most high profile communications briefs, while achieving rapid career development in an energetic, fun and professional environment.
Successful candidate(s) must be able to demonstrate:
· A minimum of three years’ CONSULTANCY experience
· Excellent written and spoken English, plus one other European language
· Knowledge of the media and other communications channels, tools and techniques
· The ability to deal with multiple issues and clients, to take initiative and to juggle workload
· Attention to detail, enthusiasm, flexibility, and willingness to learn
Additionally, a background in journalism and a good knowledge of Brussels environment and media would be beneficial.

Job description
Start every morning at 7.00 a.m. to help with daily monitoring of different news-sources (newspapers, EU institutions and EU affairs websites), identifying, summarising and reporting daily developments to teams/clients. Further supporting consultants with specified policy-related research and project-related intelligence until 3.30 p.m.
