2009

In the 2009 season Blueprint Touch beat all the records with fantastic participation, the stunning level of the games and the superb atmosphere on and off the pitch. However the record which we are most pleased to have surpassed is the amount of money the competition raised for charity in 2009. At the final count we have raised €8162. Thank you all for your contribution to achieving this.

Congratulations to FULCRA, our 2009 winner, for a majestic sporting display and team spirit.

2008

This fourth season of Blueprint Touch was a great success. Players and spectators alike enjoyed a fantastic competition, which concluded on Friday 27 June by an impressive win by the well-named Untouchables. Congratulations to them!

We were very proud of raising more than €7.000 for our charity organisations RETRAK and Ecole Chanterelle.

We would like to thank for their support and involvement: RETRAK, Ecole Chanterelle, Fulcra, Eurocity, the Belgian Touch Federation, the referees, the captains, Meat & Wool NZ and of course the Hockey Club Oranje and its volunteer staff.

2007

In its third season Blueprint Touch broke all previous records with a fantastic participation, the stunning level of the games, huge quantities of grilled burgers and a superb atmosphere! More importantly, we raised more than €5.000 for charity this time.

Many thanks to the Bok & Dragon and the Untouchables for their intense and excellent Touch demonstration in the final. Congratulations to the Untouchables players for their close win!

We would like to warmly thank all our supporters: RETRAK and Ecole Chanterelle, Fulcra, Eurocity, Hockey Club Oranje and its volunteer staff, the Belgian Touch Federation, the referees, the captains, and all the players and teams.

2006

Congratulations to the winners of the Blueprint Touch competition 2006, the Bok and Dragon team! The team triumphed in a close and thrilling finale to the eight week competition against Blueprint on 30 June 2006. The Brussels Barbarians team beat Fulcra in the play off for the third and fourth place.

Following the finals the teams gathered at Autoworld, Parc Cinquantennaire for the prize giving and finals party. Julia Harrison, Managing Partner, Blueprint Partners welcomed guests and thanked all the teams involved for supporting the competition and playing in a competitive and sporting fashion each week. Julia acknowledged the support and presence throughout the competition of the two charitable causes, RETRAK and the Ecole Chanterelle, which are supported by the profits from Blueprint Touch. She also thanked all those who had contributed to the success of the competition including the Brussels Barbarians RFC who held a BBQ and drinks each week (a special thanks to Carlsberg and Jack O'Sheas for providing the excellent products), the British School of Brussels for providing excellent facilities for the competition and the Blueprint team for organising the competition and running it each week. Mathew Hocken, consultant, Blueprint Partners then called upon representatives from each team to receive individual prizes. The final presentation of the Blueprint trophy and free passes kindly sponsored by Aspria gym were made to the captain of the Bok and Dragon team Jonathan Ralfe.

Following the presentations Dave Mann, UK fundraising and support coordinator, spoke about the RETRAK Tigers team enjoyment of the competition and the importance of the support given by the teams for RETRAK projects for street children in Uganda. Earlier Christine Ghys and school children from the Ecole Chanterelle presented gifts to Blueprint. The teams then enjoyed tapas, including NZ lamb from Meat & Wool NZ, watched the semi-final of the Football World Cup, and partied the night away.

Blueprint Partners look forward to seeing everybody back next year for another summer of Blueprint Touch!
